I've had so many clients tell me I can write social media posts all day, but emails I get stuck once we brought in ChatGPT into the process and gave it the right info. Email writing became fun again. Yes, actually fun. Let's be honest, email is still one of the most powerful tools in your marketing toolbox.
It gets seen more than social. It builds trust faster. It drives sales if you do it right. So let's take the content you already have and turn it [00:02:00] into email gold with ChatGPT as your sidekick. Now, if you joined me last month, you learned how to use ChatGPT to generate content ideas. Write full blog post and sound more like you.
With every prompt. We covered brand voice in how to make ChatGPT sound more like you, and structure in how to use ChatGPT to write a blog post in under 10 minutes. Now we're applying that same strategy to your emails. So I don't know about you, but I'm ready to dive in. Now we gotta start with step number one goal of the email.
Before you write a single word, you need to decide what is this email supposed to do? Nurture your audience, promote a blog or lead magnet. Announce something, share [00:03:00] value. Then ask ChatGPT write an email that insert your goal here in a blank voice. Whatever your tone is for your blank audience. Insert your audience there and add this to the prompt.
Keep it conversational. So let me go through that again. Write an email that insert goal in a Insert your tone voice. Four, insert your audience, keep it conversational. Boom. First draft, done in seconds. Moving on to step number two, write better subject lines. Fast, the subject line gets the open, so don't get stuck here.
Use this ChatGPT, prompt. Give me five subject lines for this email [00:04:00] that are catchy, relevant, and 50 characters or less. Now let me add this note in if you want to add in with emojis. Then do so if that fits your brand. You can also ask ChatGPT, rewrite this subject line to be more curiosity driven or more playful, or more direct, depending on your specific style.
Okay, step number three, use your blog content as the base. Now, if you remember back to my content from last month, how to repurpose one blog post into 10 pieces of content. Here's another example.
Take a blog post, put it in ChatGPT and say, summarize this blog post into a [00:05:00] short email newsletter with a hook, value and a call to action to read the full post. You already did the hard part. Now you're just reformatting it.
Okay, we're moving on to step number four. Make it sound like you. This is so key. Don't just copy and paste. Use what we learned last month in how to make ChatGPT Sound more like you. Drop in your brand voice cheat sheet to ChatGPT and say, rewrite this to match my voice. Friendly, supportive, and conversational.
Avoid sounding robotic. Yes, you can plug that into ChatGPT, and just like that. It sounds like you wrote it, not a robot. Okay, we're on to step [00:06:00] five. Keep it simple, skimmable and actionable long emails. Don't always equal better emails. Tell ChatGPT. Format this email with short paragraphs, bold key phrases, and a clearer call to action at the end.
You want your reader to skim it and still take action. So here's some call to action ideas. Reply and let me know what you think. Download your free guide here. Book a free consult. Don't leave them hanging. Okay. Let's recap how to stop overthinking and start sending better emails with ChatGPT.
First start with your goal. Next, let ChatGPT. Draft your email in your voice, then ask for subject lines and call to action [00:07:00] options. Repurpose content you already have, and then take the time to format it for readability and clarity. And don't forget ChatGPT is here to help. You're still the editor, you're still the voice.
You just don't have to do it all from scratch anymore. Take the time to have a conversation and go back and forth with ChatGPT, given it feedback so it can continue to improve as you continue to use it.
