Train ChatGPT with What Sets You Apart (So Your Content Stands Out)

If you want content that sounds like you and not everyone else, you have to teach ChatGPT what makes your business different.
In this episode, we’re walking through Step Two of my Pre-Bake the Oven method—how to train ChatGPT on your services, products, and offers so it creates content that’s accurate, relevant, and actually supports your business.
You’ll learn:
- Why so many people get stuck with vague or incorrect AI content
- What to feed ChatGPT so it reflects what you actually sell

[00:00:00] Have you ever asked ChatGPT to write something for you and then you think, this isn't really what I do. That's probably because you skipped a key step telling it what you actually offer. And today we are going to focus on how to train ChatGPT with the services, products, and offers you actually sell so it can create content that's relevant, accurate, and easy for your audience to connect with.
It's the second step in what I refer to as pre baking the oven, and a direct follow up to last week's setup where we focused on introducing who you are and what your business is all about.
Welcome to AI Simplified the podcast for entrepreneurs, [00:01:00] creators, and small business owners who want practical stress-free ways to use AI in their content and marketing. I'm Kristina Stubblefield, digital marketing strategist and creator of the Pre Bake the Oven Method. Let's simplify AI so you can create faster, show up consistently, and feel confident in your content.
Are you new to hearing me talk about the pre-bake the oven method? Don't worry, you can make it easy on yourself. Just download the free worksheet to follow along. You'll have your services documented in minutes and ready to reuse in every project or chat.
Now I'm gonna share with you one of the biggest mistakes I see people expecting ChatGPT to write a service description or a product launch or even an email promo, and they've not even told it what they [00:02:00] actually do and sell. And here's the real kicker. Many business owners don't even have a clear working list of their services or products if you are not totally clear on what it is that you offer.
How can you expect anyone else, including ChatGPT, to be that lack of clarity leads to vague content, missed opportunities and confusion for your audience. When I work with business owners on their setup, this is where things start clicking. Once ChatGPT knows what you do. What you offer, the content becomes way more accurate and way less frustrating.
So what do we need to tell ChatGPT so it understands your services and products? Well, this leads [00:03:00] me to the next step of the pre baking the oven method.
Let's start with a list of services that you offer.
Be as detailed as possible, include key products. What about special offers or packages?
Think of this as your menu, the things someone can actually buy from you. If ChatGPT doesn't know your menu, it's going to guess and guess work leads to content that misses the mark. Let me give you an example. Hi ChatGPT. SOIN Media Group offers strategic marketing planning, online presence development, website design, and ongoing business growth support to help entrepreneurs and small businesses get from where they are to where they want to be.
[00:04:00] We provide full scale marketing services, including done for you solutions and long-term support for ongoing business needs.
Now, that's just one longer sentence, but it gives ChatGPT clear guardrails to create the right kind of content. Now, let me give you another example. Hi ChatGPTI sell handmade candles in seasonal scent.
I offer gift sets during the holidays and a subscription box called a cozy subscription box. I also run workshops online and in person at local markets.
Boom. Suddenly ChatGPT knows you're not just a business, it knows how you serve people. And that's where the magic [00:05:00] starts. Now I gave you two example one about, SOIN media group that was more detailed and the other one about a candle company that I made up as I was going that stayed more overview.
You can either keep it short and sweet, but again, remember the more detail, the better the output. The better quality input. The better quality output.
I wanna share this with you. After adding their services to the setup, one of my clients said for the first time, the email draft actually sounded like something I'd send to my audience. That's how big of a difference this can make. If you want to make this step easier for yourself, make sure you grab the free pre-bake the oven worksheet.
It walks you through exactly what to share with ChatGPT about your [00:06:00] services and offers so you can get better results every time.
Now, as I mentioned, this is the second piece of the pre-bake the oven method, and just like the last step, most people skip it. But when you teach ChatGPT, what you offer, you get clearer blog post, better email drafts, all around better content that actually connects because the AI knows exactly what to promote and how.
In the next video, we're gonna move into voice and tone how to make ChatGPT actually sound like you. Until next time, keep working on your business.
