It's not just about being online. It's about how you harness this digital space to connect, engage. Let's start with the basics. Why is online presence so essential? Imagine your business being accessible 24/7 anywhere in the world. That's the power of a strong online presence. In our digital era, it's not just an option, it's a necessity.

Did you know that as of 2021, there were 4. 9 billion internet users? That's more than half the global population. And about 63% of shopping occasions begin online. A robust online presence helps build trust, showcases your products and services. But it also demonstrates your expertise. It's your digital [00:02:00] handshake with potential customers.

So what do we mean by online presence? It's how your business appears online, your website, social media profiles, blog posts, reviews, and more. It's your digital footprint. Your website is your online headquarters, while your social media profiles are your networking avenues. And let's not forget the importance of content and online reputation.

All these elements combine to form your unique online presence. Each aspect plays a crucial role in how your business is perceived and how you effectively can engage your audience. During the event, we guided attendees through a self assessment to identify their current online footprint. It's crucial to understand where you are and where you need to improve.
